Spice has introduced its latest budget Android smartphone for the Indian market, the Smart Flo Mettle 4X. The Spice Smart Flo Mettle 4X is now available at an e-commerce website at Rs. 4,299.
While announcing the Smart Flo Mettle 5X earlier this month, Spice promised that it will announce the Smart Flo Mettle 4X in December. However, the domestic handset maker is yet to officially launch the device in India.
The Spice Smart Flo Mettle 4X (Mi-426) is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. It features a 4-inch TFT LCD display with 480×800 pixels resolution. The new budget smartphone from Spice is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor (unspecified chipset) and comes with 256MB of RAM.

It sports a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, apart from a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone packs a 1450mAh battery and includes 512MB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options on the Spice Smart Flo Edge include EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Micro-USB. Sadly, Spice’s latest Smart Flo Mettle 4X does not come with 3G network support. The smartphone is now available at Saholic.

The Spice Flo Mettle 4X will come pre-loaded with popular instant chat service BlackBerry Messenger (BBM). Recently, BlackBerry announced that BBM would come preinstalled on a number of Android smartphones by Celkon, Spice and Zen, starting December 2013.
